I am a maker who specialises in constructing with needle and thread. I combine handstitch and embroidery with repurposed materials, wool felts and found objects, to create three-dimensional objects which have a strong narrative.
I am best known for creating colourful, boldly embroidered pieces from an
imaginary landscape which is populated by tribes of shy woodland dwellers, dark spirits and over-sized leaves where word blossom grows. These pieces are sold through exhibition and my online shop.
I can also be found working collaboratively with theatre and puppet companies to make items for use in performance such as puppets and masks.
I completed an MA in Contemporary Craft at Hereford College of Arts in 2018.
