Inspired by the wildflowers of British hedgerows and waysides, artist Ling Warlow creates beautiful, intricate paper wildflowers, celebrating the natural world though her highly detailed paper botany. The environment is central to her practice, many of her botanical pieces created with papers she colours using natural dyes. Ling offers limited editions of her plant dyed paper flowers, wildflower craft kits and workshops.
Ling Warlow is an artist inspired by nature, especially the wildflowers of hedgerow, wayside and woodland. Passionate about sharing her love of nature through craft, Ling has designed a range of Paper Wildflower Craftkits, available online and through a selection of stockists. Kits include Bluebells, Wood Anemone and Dog Rose, with each kit containing instructions, templates and all the materisla required to make two stems of your chosen flower - just add scissors, glue...and a little patience! Ling regularly delivers workshops both in her studio and at venues around the country - keep up to date with her class schedule via the website or Ling's Substack publication The Paper Wildflower. When she is not busy teaching, Ling can be found, lupe in hand, examining local plants and flowers, foraging for local dyestuffs, or immersed in the flow of creating her intricate plants and flowers! Her work can currently be seen at Liverpool World Museum (until 30 April 25) and as part of the Floribunda exhibition at The Atkinson Southport (unti 15 March 25). Ling is open to commissions, creating beautiful pieces for both home, film and photoshoots. "In nature, inspiration is everywhere, and I love to play with colour and scale, creating both giant, towering foxgloves and tiny, intricate stems of violet!"
