Mill & Mooch was founded in late 2020, motivated by the desire to bring the simplicity and beauty of nature into every home.

Through many years working as an Interior Horticulturist in NYC, Mimi developed a strong appreciation for natural materials, and the need for us to reconnect with nature on a day-to-day basis became undeniable. Thus became the inspiration, and driving force of all Mill & Mooch creations.

Specializing in quintessential homewares, Mill & Mooch pieces are consciously created to ensure the most luxurious and sensational products that will stand the test of time. Designed to be both practical and eye-catching with the natural colors and textures of the wood being the central focus of each piece.

Skillfully hand crafted using classic turning methods and primarily utilizing exotic hardwood off-cuts from musical instrument makers, we are able to create totally unique pieces and ensure no part of the tree goes to waste.

Mill & Mooch pieces are always unique and one-of-a-kind, with little to no design decisions made before placing on the lathe. By listening to our intuition and connecting to the wood, we allow each piece to guide us to its final form.
