Merry Christmas from Craft Festival & Find a Maker

Dear Friend,

I hope this finds you well. We've come to the end of another extraordinary year. 

Throughout 2023, we warmly welcomed visitors to our live events in Bovey Tracey and Cheltenham, I am grateful to every one of you who chose handmade this year. Find a Maker has also grown and we now represent 400 of the finest makers. 

Being awarded an MBE for my services to craft was a huge honour and I visited Buckingham Palace on October 27th to receive my medal. I will never forget the feeling of pride and disbelief at being there. Thank you to those who nominated me, I am very grateful. 

I want to thank all our visitors, makers, supporters, sponsors, selectors, volunteers, teachers, demonstrators, suppliers, venues and contractors.

Everything we do is a team effort and I particularly wanted to thank Keith Brymer-Jones, Make South West, QEST, Folksy, Heritage Crafts and Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre for all their support, proving that Together, We are Stronger.

And to my amazing team Nina, Kate and Susan. Thank you. We've recently welcomed Niamh Geraghty-Morris to the Team, she will be  looking after Find a Maker. Welcome Niamh.
