Make Your Own Gifts This Christmas
Date: 04 November 2022
Hello,
Make Your Own Gifts at Craft Festival
We work with hundreds of small businesses, many of whom are busy making for Craft Festival in Cheltenham Town Hall. We wholly apprecitate that life is difficult and uncertain at the moment.
Without sounding glib, sometimes we just need something to look forward to and focus on something positive.
Cheltenham's Christmas lights will be twinkling and we'd love for you to visit us at The Town Hall and meet 100 makers from November 26-27.
You can join us and make your own gifts (keep scrolling to book), enjoy a Stage-full of free activities for young people and learn a little more with our demonstrating makers.
A lovely day out! And if you buy your tickets in advance, you can save some money too.
Ahead of the Festival, we asked a number of our friends to choose the makers they are looking forward to seeing. This week, the team from Llantarnham Grange Arts Centre are making their choices. (They're also running a free children's workshop at the Festival.Clever bunch!)
See you at Cheltenham Town Hall,
Best wishes,
Sarah

Here are the 5 Favourites from Llantarnham Grange Arts Centre
Beautiful handwoven textiles! I love the detail in Llio’s pieces. Hand weaving is such an important craft to keep alive, especially due to its strong connections with the Welsh woollen industry and our industrial/cultural heritage.
Leoma Drew
We love her choice of stones and pearls and the way she ‘draws’ the silver into bold shapes which give a strength and lightness to her jewellery.
We like the bold bright colours and the playful botanical drawings.
Love the delicate birds and flowers that make up her delicious pieces of jewellery, and the decorative pinks, yellows and blues outlined in bold black that colour them.
We really like the playful take on food labelling, and the way the embroidery/stitching acts as a form of drawing.
