Whilst selling one-off pieces from his website Patrick also works to commission. Guiding through the process from initial idea/design, material choice and finish.

Using mostly native timbers, Patrick keeps up a good relationship with local tree surgeons and joinery shops. Where possible using timber direct from the local area. Seaking out unique pieces with character.

Patricks great grandfather first opened Legards in the late 19th century selling handmade clogs from thier factory in Barnsley. Years later Patrick has set up his own workshop, bringing back the Legards name with the same passion for handmade quality.
