My workspace overlooks the river Exe with its dependable seasonal rhythms. Inspiration comes from elements of nature, meandering water, foliage and moon glade reflections. A fascination with a variety of leaf forms and methods of articulation have become an important focus. Beginning with drawing, the three-dimensional design evolves during the making process. I enjoy the tension between form, function and the practical considerations of fit, comfort and movement of jewellery on the body.
I am a maker member of MAKE southwest and supply a variety of other galleries mainly based in the southwest.
