I am a Swedish Artist-Designer-Maker who makes functional and decorative hand-blown objects. I also offers a bespoke service for interior designers, and I very passionate to keep my craft alive, so I regularly teach glass blowing classes to the public and I assist artists to realise their ideas in glass.

I initially trained in glass blowing at Orrefors Glass School, situated in the ‘Kingdom of Glass’, in south of Sweden.

After graduating from my BA (Hons) and then my MA in glass and architectural glass at Edinburgh College of Art, I attended master classes with glass artist Rudy Gritch,  San Servolo, Italy and at Northlands Glass Centre, with master glass blower Dante Marioni and Simon Moore.

2010 I set up my own glass blowing studio, and now I am based in Dunblane where I also live with my family.

I sell my glass direct from the workshop, online and through galleries in the UK and US.

In 2024 I was pleased to be commissioned to create the Scottish Album of the Year Awards, and I was also selected into the Homo Faber Guide by the Michelangelo Foundation.

My blown glass forms are often simple but tactile, heavily influenced by my Scandinavian background and early glass training. My colour palette is inspired by the Scottish landscape and also by my time spent in India, which has brought splashes of bright colours and then gold leaf into my later work.

My designs often reveal a sense of movement, capturing the inherent energy and fluidity of working with molten glass. Blowing glass is a constant battle against heat and gravity and many new ideas are born through observing the behaviour of glass whilst making other work.
