A Cornwall-based printmaker, my work explores the beauty and importance of flora and fauna. I experiment with various mark-making techniques in printmaking – from the delicate scratching of drypoint that speaks to my love of drawing, to the looser monotype method. Whether it's forest dwellers, ocean oddities or dark, woodland vignettes – my hope is that my work evokes a sense of intrigue in the viewer, invites them to consider what each image represents beyond the nostalgia they might see on the surface, and ultimately engages them in a conversation about the natural world and our relationship with it.
