Demonstrations and Workshops at Cheltenham

An important part of our work at Craft Festival is to show you how things are made, whether by watching amazing makers demonstrate their skills or by getting stuck into a workshop.
We do this for a few reasons.
It gives insight into the skill, patience and tenacity needed to be a professional maker, it helps explain the value of the work, it's completely absorbing and it’s also flippin’ fascinating!
We have some exceptional makers demonstrating their skills at Craft Festival Cheltenham and many of them are also running workshops so you can have a go yourself.
You can meet Nick Hand from The Letterpress Collective, basketmaker Michelle Mateo, leatherworker Katie Warriner and porcelain potter Justine Allison.
