CodeKnit pieces showcase the power and beauty of bringing technology and creativity together.
Each CodeKnit design turns words into ASCII binary code, then represents them through a machine knitting technique or 'design hack'. Each design hack can be customised with different words, with the corresponding 0's and 1's creating a bespoke pattern while still visually linked to the original hack.
There are currently two design hacks for CodeKnit, with a core limited series of scarves and cushions released and more products planned in 2024. Pieces are made to order and can be customised, with bespoke commissions for unique products, artworks or new design hacks also welcomed.
