In Katy's own words..
Coming to the Craft Festival is always a treat, getting to see so many makers and to chat directly with them about their work. I know how much effort they have to put in to get a show together so I’m always appreciative. There’s a lot to see, but these are the top 5 that I’ll be making a beeline for…
I’ve got my eye on a few things from Make Shed by Claire Ambrose-Gordon. I can’t wait to try on a few of her stylish things for spring.
Liz Willis
Liz Willis uses mudlarking finds to make treasures with a history. I love the combination of the story and threads she uses to link them together.
Sarah Monk
Sarah Monk’s ceramics are a fresh take on slipware, with the red clay body showing through. You can feel the maker’s hand.
All in the Making
This local Cotswolds based workshop uses indigenous woods to make traditional furniture that would be really useful and beautiful in any home.
Henrietta Park
Henrietta Park’s knitwear is super soft and wearable and she has a great eye for colour.
